Digital Communications Switching System

AccessNet™ is a scaleable, configurable digital switching system that supports a wide range of communication needs including voice conferencing (internal and external), and robust radio communications. AccessNet can provide simultaneous use of a wide variety of communications devices including radios (High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Private Branch Exchange (PBX), Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) phone lines, or dedicated connections.

The AccessNet digital voice conferencing switch offers a state-of-the-art solution with low initial cost and low life cycle cost. AccessNet is a completely open system, based on industry standards and built from all commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware. This switching system provides a full digital communications platform that seamlessly integrates into larger defense and civil systems including Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), air traffic control, and training systems.

From its very core, AccessNet is designed to keep pace with change. AccessNet is built from state-of-the-art commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components that are assembled in a highly modular arrangement - allowing easy replacement or addition of components in the future.

AccessNet is based on the Multi-Vendor Integration Protocol (MVIP) standard, which is highly flexible and easily configured to meet multiple requirements. Because AccessNet™ is based on open standards, a wide range of third party products is available for current and future integration. Our AccessNet open architecture is not only flexible, but also offers lower support costs for many years to come because the user is not dependent on proprietary solutions available from only one source. The highly versatile AccessNet can be operational in many environments. Our system is available in Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) or Time Division Multiplex (TDM) version. Each has its advantages.

AccessNet is the ideal communications solution for fixed base, transportable, ground mobile (including operations on-the-move), and airborne applications. This system can also be used for access to, and control of, remote radios and telephones as well as inter-communications.
